This series was created within an hour, meaning all images were taken withing an hour of eachother during the same sunset. Driving along one road that follows the ridge of the valley that Duluth is built into, I was able to capture many different views of Duluth from different angles. Many subjects from each picture can be seen in other photos. Using post processing I was able to create a "painting" effect in the sky and most prominently in the clouds. By fringing the finer details they seem to blend together into brushstrokes. Some images have houses in them that look to be blotted on the page with a tiny brush.
